Family Law issues can be some of the most personal and challenging situations we face.

At Paris Steele, we understand that these matters are sensitive and often stressful. Which is why we have introduced a new service – Family Law Focus – where one of our Family Law experts will be available for you to have an initial free telephone consultation to discuss your personal situation.

What does it cover?

Family Law deals with the legal issues that arise from personal relationships, including marriage, civil partnerships, and cohabitation. It covers separation and divorce, as well as the financial provision that follows the end of a relationship, including advice on financial and property entitlements.

It also addresses matters involving children, such as parental responsibilities and rights, child contact arrangements, and adoption, along with guardianships under the Adults with Incapacity (Scotland) Act 2000.

In addition, Family Law includes prenuptial agreements, which formalise financial arrangements in the event of separation or divorce, and broader issues relating to property rights.

Alongside this work, our team of solicitors and paralegals can assist with personal injury claims and, where appropriate, make referrals to our network of specialist advisers.

Free, confidential telephone appointments

If you're unsure where you stand, getting clear advice early can make all the difference.

Every Wednesday fortnight, from 2pm until 4pm, a member of our Family Law team will be available to speak with new clients about their personal situation.

Dates and hosts will be announced in advance, along with any relevant specialist focus. Follow us on social media to stay updated on future dates and availability.
