Paris Steele are proud to be one of the only firms of solicitors in East Lothian signed up to participate in the Cancer Research UK Free Will Scheme.
Under this scheme, individuals over the age of 18 years, can choose to make a simple Will or Codicil, free of charge, with Cancer Research UK renumerating us (with a reduced fee) directly for our involvement.
Whilst there is no obligation to leave a legacy to Cancer Research UK in your Will, Cancer Research UK very much hope that the scheme will encourage donations from participants to help aid vital research. Where an individual desires that their legacy is to be used for a certain type of cancer, or to provide support in their local area, then they will endeavour to meet this wish as far as reasonably possible. In each case, where a legacy has been included in a Will, Cancer Research UK will be in touch directly to thank the individual for the inclusion.
By taking advantage of the Cancer Research UK Free Will scheme, you can achieve two important goals: making sure you have a Will to plan for your family after you are gone; and giving back by donating to a charity who are undertaking very important work to help our generation, and generations to come.
Please note that Cancer Research UK reserves the right to withdraw the Free Will Service at any time.
If you wish further advice about the Cancer Research UK Free Will Service, please contact our office and one of our friendly team of solicitors will be able to talk you through the process.
