New Year, New Home - 100 Years of Paris Steele
As we step into a new year,
we do so with a strong sense of momentum, optimism, and, above all, gratitude.
2026 marks a truly special milestone for us: 100 years of serving the people
and communities of East Lothian.
From our beginnings in 1926
to the full-service property and legal firm we are today, one thing has
remained constant - our deep-rooted connection to this area and the people who
live here. With estate agency and legal services under one roof, many of our
team have spent their careers guiding generations of clients through every
stage of buying, selling and safeguarding property across East Lothian and
beyond.
As we return to the office
and look ahead to this landmark year, we wanted our centenary to be about more
than celebration alone. As we commemorate the past 100 years, we also look
ahead with ambition and excitement for the next century of serving our clients
and communities.
New Year, New Home
We are launching our
centenary year with a campaign that is designed to support sellers at one of
the most important points in the property calendar.
From 1 January to 31 March
2026, our New Year, New Home campaign will offer a 20% discount on our
standard estate agency commission on all new sale instructions taken during
this period.
The months leading into
spring are traditionally one of the strongest periods for activity in the
Scottish property market. Buyer demand typically begins to rise from January
onwards, building momentum as spring approaches. Sellers who come to market early
benefit from increased visibility at a time when motivated buyers are actively
registering and arranging viewings, to take advantage of one of the most active
periods in the property calendar. This early positioning can lead to stronger
interest, competitive offers and smoother transactions.
We also recognise that
Christmas places financial pressure on many households. This offer is designed
to help reduce the overall cost of selling, while allowing clients to enter the
spring market in a strong, well-prepared position and with a valuable financial
saving to support their move.
A Year of Celebration
This
centenary year is about celebrating the relationships, trust and community at
the heart of Paris Steele.
For
100 years, homeowners across East Lothian have trusted us to guide them through
one of life’s most important decisions. With experienced estate agents and
legal experts working together, we offer a client-centric service from first
valuation through to final completion, as reflected in our Google reviews.
As
a locally rooted firm with a century of market knowledge, we understand the
East Lothian property market. Our advice is practical, transparent and always
shaped around our clients’ individual needs, ensuring every sale is handled
with care, clarity and confidence.
As
part of our commitment to supporting sellers this landmark year, we are
offering free, no-obligation pre-sale appraisals to anyone considering a move
in 2026. Whether you're ready to sell now or simply exploring your options, our
team is here to help you take the next step with confidence.
As
we begin this significant year, we would like to thank everyone who has
supported Paris Steele since 1926. Your trust has allowed us to grow alongside
the community we serve, and we look forward to continuing to support you in the
years ahead.
